Hello everybody,
Welcome to anyone receiving this for the first time. I hope you find it useful but If you don't want to receive them in future please just click the unsubscribe button.
I was very shocked to receive an email from the Showfields centre to tell me that, with only 6 week notice, we would not be able to continue the memory cafe there after our December meeting. As a matter of great urgency, I set about trying to arrange a new venue for January onwards. Thankfully, within days, I had a further notification to say that the centre would continue thanks to Emmanuel Anglican Church who had taken on the responsibility. Sadly, for now anyway, the little cafe will close and the centre manager and cafe staff will all be made redundant. They hope to be able to resurrect the cafe in the future with volunteer labour. For those of you who attend the memory cafe there, we look forward to maintaining this for the future.

We have no visitors this month, so a chance to chat together, de-stress (if you can) and enjoy a pre- Christmas breather over a cuppa.
Our visitor in November, Dr Neil Bindermann, who spoke about the effects of diet on Neuro conditions was very interesting and I'm happy to share the websites he spoke about.
